A friend of mine is travelling in Costa Rica right now. He is spending a whole month there climbing around in the mountain rainforests looking for orchids. He is telling the story as he goes and posting some beautiful photos as well. I am really enjoying following his adventures from afar as it seem to involve a lot of mud, snakes and really extraneous hikes… although deep down I wish I could see all this amazing stuff in real life too. Perhaps one day.
So check out the blog, hopefully Google translate will do a half decent job with it as it is written in Swedish… orchid-hunter.blogspot.com (Translated to english here.)

Save your cash and come on down…..err…across and down.We have about 75 species on my farm/Botanical Garden.
Tell your buddy to go to Lankester if he has time. It’s in Cartago.
Thanks Doug! Nice to hear that you enjoyed the link. I think Lancaster might be in the travel plans already, but I will him know about your farm too – it is a beautiful place you got there!! 🙂
Great! I have a little green man sitting on my shoulder :-))
Alright Bill… hmmm not sure I am following you, but as long as he is friendly I suppose… 😉
🙂 He’s the green man of envy, I’m afraid 🙂
