…but now it is starting to sound a bit more like a fairytale! The first two buds have opened. They probably will open up a bit more, but I was so excited to see the beautiful crisp white waxy flowers that I just had to share. Especially after all the drama the past week… No detectible fragrance yet, but I am planning to stick my nose in the vivarium tonight and check again. This orchid is supposed to be wonderfully fragrant, and more so at night (that is pretty common by the way). But it might still take a few days for them to mature. Oh what fun. This is one of my proudest orchid moments – so far.

Absolutely gorgeous…good growing!
Thanks Calvin! I am very proud of this one. 🙂 It has a very soft floral scent in the evenings. I cannot figure out what kind of flower, but it is quite lovely!
